Free Things to do at CocoCay
While the spotlight may be on the paid activities at Perfect Day, there are plenty of enjoyable experiences that come at no additional cost. For instance, simply strolling around the island is a free and delightful way to spend your time. Much like any other port of call, you can disembark from your ship and venture out on your own.
Bars and Drink Package
CocoCay boasts a phenomenal floating bar surrounded by stunning South Beach waters. This bar is a popular destination that fills up quickly with its location on the opposite side of the dock where the ship is anchored, past the Oasis Lagoon pool. The bar is situated roughly 100 feet from the shore, so you can have a refreshing drink while soaking up the beauty of the surroundings. It's an entertaining spot to unwind and indulge in a few drinks, particularly in the daytime. Also at the Oasis Lagoon, you can enjoy a refreshing beverage without drying off thanks to their fantastic swim-up bar. This popular spot is frequently bustling with visitors, making it an ideal place for socializing and making new acquaintances. By getting a Royal Caribbean drink package for your cruise, you'll be able to make the most of its benefits during your visit to Perfect Day at CocoCay. Unlimited alcoholic beverages, bottled water, sodas, and more are included in the Deluxe Beverage Package. Meanwhile, the Royal Refreshment and Soda Package also covers benefits that you can enjoy at Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Captain Jack's at CocoCay is a unique land-based bar that is included in the drink package. Not every bar is in the water on this tropical island, and Captain Jack's is a top-notch establishment that offers a blissful experience. You can enjoy delicious food and drinks while taking in live music at this vast covered bar and restaurant. What sets Captain Jack's apart is the row of swings that are positioned strategically along the bar. Imagine sipping a refreshing beverage while relaxing on a swing - this is absolute paradise.
Relaxing on the Beach
head straight to the beach and enjoy the vast stretch of shoreline without spending a dime. Royal Caribbean has provided thousands of loungers and umbrellas for your use. Whether you plan to swim, build sandcastles, or just soak up some sun, a fabulous tropical getaway awaits you. However, if you want to avoid the crowds, it's recommended that you walk further down the coast until you find a more secluded area. Usually, the nearest spots to the ship get filled up first.
Eat for Free at Most CocoCay Restaurants
The days of limited food options on the island are gone– although you can still get burgers and hot dogs if you crave them. Nowadays, a wide variety of complimentary food items are available. The two main spots for dining are Chill Grill and Snack Shack. Chill Grill is akin to the island's Windjammer, offering the most diverse selection of food, with shaded seating close by. On their menu, you'll find everything from salads and burgers to sandwiches and tacos and even soft-serve ice cream. Skipper's Grill is centrally located and very similar to Chill Grill, serving sandwiches, fruits, and tacos. On the other hand, Snack Shack specializes in grab-and-go options, such as chicken sandwiches, mozzarella sticks, burgers, and a light Greek salad. Snack Shack is also the only restaurant inside Thrill Waterpark.

Daredevil’s Tower: Daredevil's Tower is the first notable attraction when arriving at CocoCay. The tower stands out from the rest of the island and boasts numerous slides that wrap around it. Riding this slide involves a thrilling 15-second descent around the tower, gathering momentum as you go.
Dueling Demons Waterslide: If you're looking for an ultimate heart-pumping experience, Dueling Demons is the attraction you must try! Get ready to scream your lungs out as the floor beneath your feet drops out, sending you down the tube at lightning speed. The starting chamber is almost vertical, and you'll have to wait for a countdown before taking the plunge. Although it's a quick ride, the memory of it will remain with you, and you might need a little time to calm down from the adrenaline rush.
Wave pool: Thrill Waterpark offers more than just slides, with a large wave pool that promises endless fun. While you can relax in the comfortable chairs that line the pool entrance, the real adventure awaits in the water itself. The waves start small and gentle along a gradual slope, providing a serene swimming experience. However, as you venture deeper into the pool (up to around six feet deep), the waves become more intense, mimicking the rough conditions found in an open ocean on a choppy day. Unlike the predictable ebb and flow of regular wave pools, the waves here are unpredictable, bouncing off walls and directing you in various unexpected directions.
Adventure pool: Are you traveling with kids to Thrill Waterpark? If so, make sure to make a stop at the Adventure Pool. This obstacle course over the water will keep your little ones entertained with pads to walk across, climbing walls, and a fun rope swing. While the wave pool or water slides might be more appealing to teenagers and adults, the Adventure Pool is perfect for younger kids.'
