Royal Babies & Tots (6 mos – 36 mos)

The Royal Babies & Tots Nursery is a paid babysitting service available on select Royal Caribbean cruise ships, operating from 9 am to midnight. The cost is $6/hour per child from 9 am to 6 pm and $8/hour per child from 6 pm to midnight. It's a great option for parents who want to relax by the pool, visit port destinations, or attend shows in the Royal Theatre. The certified nursery staff follows Florida State Regulations and can feed, change diapers, and give bottles to children in their care, with at least two caretakers present at all times. The recommended ratio of staff to children is either one staff member for every three babies or one staff member for every four toddlers. Pre-registration is available for parents with scheduled shore excursions and is on a first-come, first-served basis, so reserving in advance is recommended if you have specific times you require the service.

Adventure Ocean Drop-Off Programming (3-11 years old)

Aquanauts 3-5 years

Little Aquanauts will have a blast getting messy with finger painting, concocting bubbling potions, participating in musical activities, building with blocks, and even enjoying space night among other fun activities. For added peace of mind, parents can borrow a pager from the Royal Caribbean Adventure Ocean staff, to facilitate swift communication in case of emergencies.

Explorers 6-8 years

There are a variety of exciting activities planned for explorers, including pajama parties, interactive science projects, lively parades, swashbuckling pirate nights, sweet ice cream parties, and impressive talent shows to showcase their skills.

Voyagers 9-11 years

As a Voyager, your child will get the chance to experience behind-the-scenes tours, engage in sports activities, sing their heart outs in karaoke, conduct scientific experiments, participate in tournaments, and play video games. While some parents like to stay informed about their children's whereabouts, allowing them to sign themselves out can provide some independence to tweens. It's a parental decision to make based on their child's maturity level.

Teen Program (12-17 years old)

Royal Caribbean provides teenagers with exclusive hangout spaces, which may differ depending on the ship. These include a calm lounge area for relaxing during the day and a lively Fuel nightclub for late-night parties. In contrast to Adventure Ocean, teen clubs permit teens to come and go as they please. Royal Caribbean also offers designated areas for teens to have fun and socialize, categorized into Younger Teens (13-14 years) and Older Teens (15-17 years), with various activities held by staff members, both during the day and at night.

Younger teens 12-14 years

BBQs, movie nights, open mic nights, and organized sports are some of the activities that younger teenagers can take pleasure in.

Older teens 15-17 years

Teenagers who are a bit older can spend their time engaging in activities like playing video games, participating in fun karaoke sessions, having dinner together, enjoying theme nights, and pool parties.
