That's a Wrap! Here's a Recap of Our Second Annual Symposium

Last Updated

September 2, 2024

We've finally had time to process and reflect on our second annual symposium, which brought our agents, vendors, and staff together for a few unforgettable days in Miami. We're thrilled to say the event was a massive success, filled with great memories, inspiring conversations, and, of course, a bit of well-deserved celebration.

A Huge Thanks to Our Sponsors

We couldn't have pulled this off without the incredible support of our sponsors, Carnival Cruise Line and Expedia TAAP. Their backing helped make this event truly special, and we're grateful for their partnership. It's partnerships like these that keep us moving forward and pushing boundaries.

Building Relationships in One-on-One Sessions

One of the highlights this year (and last year) was our one-on-one sessions, where our agents and vendors had the chance to sit down together in more intimate settings.

These sessions were all about getting to know each other better and diving deep into strategies that can boost revenue. The conversations were meaningful, and we received strong indications that these connections will drive success for everyone involved.

A Night to Remember with Justin Alexander

Our evening BBQ and pool party were made even more special by the presence of Justin Alexander from The Shiplife. His talk about the cruise industry was both insightful and entertaining, and it set the perfect tone for a relaxed, enjoyable night. With the Miami sky overhead, everyone had a great time mingling, laughing, and making memories.

Insights and Inspiration from the LuxRally Team

Our general sessions featured some of the brightest minds at LuxRally. CEO David Eisen, CMO Courtney Eisen, VP of Sales Deahne Anderson, Head of Business Development and Concierge Markus Lahaanen, and Sales Direct Phil Obermeyer shared their thoughts on the future of the company and the travel industry, offering insights that left us all inspired.

We were also lucky to hear from Jennifer Jilot, one of our top agents, who recently accompanied David and Courtney on trips to the Royal Mansour and Rosewood Castiglion Del Bosco. Her stories about these luxurious destinations were the stuff of dreams and left everyone eager to learn more.

Celebrating Success at the Awards Dinner

We wrapped up the symposium with a bang at our awards dinner. Ed Bolian from VinWiki joined us as a guest speaker, and his story of going from selling Lamborghinis to breaking the Cannonball Run record was nothing short of amazing. It was the perfect way to end the event on a high note.

Of course, we also took the time to recognize some outstanding achievements within our team:

Derek Van Den Top earned the award for Highest Gross Sales.

Alex Saxen took home the award for Highest Yield.

Becky Tanis was recognized for her High Luxury Cruise Volume.

These awards reflect the incredible dedication and hard work of our agents, and we couldn't be prouder of their achievements.

Looking Forward to Next Year

As we close the chapter on this year's symposium, we're already looking forward to next August. This event was a true celebration of what makes LuxRally special—our people, our partners, and our shared commitment to excellence in luxury travel. A big thank you to everyone who made it possible, and here's to another fantastic year ahead!
