The hotel offers stunning views of landmarks such as the Grand Palais, the Eiffel Tower, the Pantheon, and the Obelisk on the Place de la Concorde. The name La Réserve could also be a nod to the extensive wine cellar with over 1,500 selections and the opportunity to visit its sister property in Bordeaux.
Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a staff member and escorted directly to their room, bypassing the need for check-in at the reception desk. The spa offers a serene environment with three treatment rooms and a steam room featuring services from the Swiss anti-aging beauty brand Nescens.
Le Bar, designed like a private club with onyx columns from Pakistan and a 15-seat bar, is open to all guests. It boasts an exceptional wine list with 500 white wines and over 1,000 red labels.
The hotel's design reflects pure French elegance, a testament to the owner's commitment to maintaining classic simplicity. Despite originally being a 19th-century urban dwelling, the building now houses 40 rooms across five floors, each accessed with a traditional key.
Over two years, 120 artisans from 38 companies worked tirelessly to complete the design of La Réserve. Wine enthusiasts have the option to fly privately to spend 24 hours at the sister hotel Château Cos d'Estournel in Bordeaux.
The rooms blend tradition with modernity, featuring hidden televisions within large mirrors and French décor by Jacques Garcia. Guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast, Wi-Fi, and access to a private bar stocked with soft drinks, biscuits, and candy bars.
The hotel was completely redesigned from its original state, preserving only a few elements like aged mirrors and a historic fireplace. It features 250 tons of marble, arranged by a dozen artisans over six months. Over 19,685 feet of fabric was used for hangings and drapes in the interior design.
Adding a personal touch, pictures of the owner, multi-billionaire Michel Reybier, and his family are displayed throughout the hotel.
