Amanwana, which translates to 'peaceful forest,' is an exquisite retreat located on the beautiful Moyo island, east of Bali. The island recently became Indonesia's 55th National Park in August 2022. Amanwana provides luxurious accommodation in 15 elegant tents that overlook Flores Sea's coastal beach. Additionally, guests have access to facilities such as a bar, library, restaurant, and spa. This custom-built boat offers three above-deck cabins, dive facilities, and a bar on the foredeck, making it perfect for various excursions worldwide. On the other hand, Amandira is a custom-built, 52-meter, two-masted Phinisi sailing vessel and the newest addition to Aman's Indonesian fleet. It offers five spacious cabins, including two king-size bed cabins, one queen-size bed/twin bed cabin, and two double bunk bed cabins, alongside the services of a crew of 14. It can travel under sail, and motor and features dive facilities that offer Nitrox for experienced divers, and it can explore the UNESCO-protected Komodo National Park or Raja Ampat's stunning coral reefs and rich marine life. The two boats can also be chartered together for a remarkable Indonesian voyage.

Amanwana is an eco-friendly retreat located on the western coast of secluded Moyo Island. As a nature reserve, the island allows Mother Nature to thrive across its 36,000 hectares, making it an ideal destination for wildlife enthusiasts. Amanwana offers 15 luxurious safari tents nestled in the lush rainforest or on the pristine shores. These tents are low-impact and eco-friendly yet fitted with hardwood floors, air-conditioning, daybeds, ensuite bathrooms, and net-draped kingsize beds. It's not uncommon to receive friendly visits from macaques and deer, offering a hint of the abundant wildlife found inland or out to sea. The resort is accessible via a 50-minute boat ride from the Sumbawa Besar Airport, or private charter arrangements can be made.

Expect to see trevally, mantas, reef sharks, tuna, batfish, moray eels, stonefish, and lionfish, as well as nudibranchs and corals of every imaginable hue. The waterfall excursion is another popular half-day tour offering visitors a 4x4 safari ride through the jungle, a stroll through the local fishing and farming village, and visits to the school. Guests can also take a short trek to a series of magnificent waterfalls cascading into limestone pools ideal for swimming. Nature treks and biking provide additional options, such as strolling along Amanwana Ridge or biking along the coastline to see monkeys, birds, and wild boar. Thrill-seekers can embark on a physically demanding guided trek through the bat cave with the opportunity to spot seven species of bats and monitor lizards, pythons, and the occasional scorpion. Adventurous individuals can also make Amanwana their base to sail on Amandira, a 10-berth two-masted phinisi, for longer expeditions around the archipelago.
