Built by the Coccina family in the mid-16th century, the palazzo has since been passed down through various hands - including that of the Arrivabene family, who have resided on the top floor for two centuries.

The name 'Aman' is derived from eight languages and stands for "peace," "safety," or "shelter" - all aptly applicable to this magnificent property. Guests of the Aman Venice experience a unique stay within one of Unesco-protected Venice's grand palazzos, built in the 16th century. Visitors arrive by boat, docking at a private landing that leads directly into the Palazzo's Reception Hall. From here, a sweeping staircase rises through two levels to the piano nobile - the grandest floor of any palazzo. The vestibule leads to an elegant lounge which was once home to the ballroom and boasts a balcony overlooking the Grand Canal.

The Yellow Dining Room features awe-inspiring views of the Canal while its ceiling is adorned with a painting by Cesare Rotta.
